PickNik Robotics is a global leader in robotic software solutions and services, specializing in robot arm manipulation and controls for the $230B market of non-industrial robotics. Our robotics development platform, MoveIt Pro, is changing the way engineers program robots on Earth and in space. We’re a fast growing start up, sometimes hectic, always exciting with a clear path to scale up $100 million of ARR.
We’re seeking a Sales Executive to sell the MoveIt Pro robotics software development platform and integration services. As our first dedicated sales hire, you’ll work alongside our CEO and Chief Product Officer to drive revenue and build client relationships.
The ideal candidate can articulate complex software capabilities while closing deals. You’ll need technical acumen, urgency, integrity, and a results-driven approach to succeed in our fast-paced startup environment. This ground-floor opportunity offers exceptional growth potential as we plan to double our sales team every 6-12 months, creating clear advancement paths for top performers.

What you’ll be working on:
- Achieving and exceeding your sales quota each quarter.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and LinkedIn.
- Drive the sales strategy for each qualified opportunity.
- Manage full sales cycles from lead to contract conversion.
- Negotiate pricing, deal terms, and legal contracts.
- Develop and nurture executive relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor on customer-centric solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience selling enterprise software and/or software services.
- Experience working at an early stage company.
- Entrepreneur mindset, capable and excited about generating their own pipeline.
- Ability to effectively communicate with potential customers and build relationships.
- Knowledge and experience in engaging both C-level executives and engineering leadership, and a solid understanding of how to work with both.
- Able to travel to tradeshows, conferences, and customer sales trips (30-40%).
- US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).
- Live in the Boulder/Denver area and are able to be in-office 3-4 days per week.
Additional Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Deep understanding of the robotics industry and key players.
- Technical knowledge of robotics, manufacturing, or automation.
- Experience selling SaaS or perpetual licensed software.
